Not the ones that cover your ear, but the ear buds that go in your ear? I am very self conscious and i have been listening to music A LOT lately epecially when i work out.

they don't affect the appearance of your ear, nothing can unless you do physical damage like cut it or hurt it badly. the only damage that can be done to your ear by ear buds, is to your inner ear/ear drum if you listen to music too loudly!hope i helped :)
