i got studded on the top of my foot, at first it was okay but then i started hurting more and more, it even hurts to walk now. i am going to go to the doctor on monday but can you tell me what is happening, is it serious, and what can i do to treat it.

As i cant see the injury, it is really a shot in the dark.It could be one of two things:1) You may have damaged a nerve running along one of the bones in your foot, the nerves and arterial blood vessels normally run along the bones for (we think) protection.or2) You may have have damaged one of the bones in your foot (Metatarsals).Both injuries are not majurely serious, but what a lot of people don't realise is that when you walk, every part of your foot moves, so if you dont rest it, it will only get worse!!
