  1. You should go see your doctor and get an x-ray. From my personal experience since you are feeling the pain none-stop do whatever you can to not put pressure on your ankle and get a friend to help you to the car. When I twisted my ankle I had a minor fracture and because I tried to tough it out bywalking on it I ended up with a spiral fracture. My pain wasn't none-stop, it was actually very dull and my foot felt numb. Some times being able to feel the pain is a sign of relief. I'm pretty sure you just sprained it, but go have it checked out if you are not sure of it. If it is a sprain, remember to keep it elevated above your knees when you sleep with pillows.Hope you get well soon. Take care.
