You can simply call the number of your local pharmacy that is on your Vicodin bottle.From experience, I've taken Ibuprofen before along with Vicodin for severe migraines. Ibuprofen is an NSAID and Acetaminophen (which is in Vicodin) is not in the same class. You wouldn't be mixing two narcotic pain meds if you took both Ibuprofen and Vicodin together. Call your pharmacist though.Doctors don't typically answer often. If you finally get a hold of someone, it's the nurse, and they may have to call you back after they get a hold of the doctor. Yes, you can take it. Vicodin has acetaminophen and hydrocodone in it, so it's not safe to take with Tylenol. But it's okay to take it with ibuprofen.
