OK, so long story (and I do mean long) short: I fractured my growthplate, didn't get it casted, then I went to an orthopedic specialist and got a brace (and a note that pulled me from PE). Then I went back after 6 weeks, and he said that because of my Peroneal Tendon Subluxation, I'm going to need surgery. So on monday, I will be having a Fibular Groove Deepening, and I will be in a splint for a week (in case of swelling), and a cast for 6 weeks (completely non-weight bearing). So I was wondering, I guess, what that splint will look like. And also, do you guys think I should go to school on Tuesday? (I have a pretty high pain tolerance) And another question, we have a pre-UIL contest for concert band on Thursday. Would that be ok to go to? Thanks in advance.
