  1. You might want to call the number on www.zone024.com and see if they think this product would work for you. It's a topical made up of naturals oils, etc. It is used for arthritis, gout, Fibromyalgia. You can rinse it off approx. half an hour after you apply it (it has a heavy camphor and peppermint smell), but it works. I'm not certain if it will be strong enough for what you are talking about. I would have to have the nitro the Dentist gives out for what you are facing.Learn meditation and practice before you go back. Getting your mind in another place will help.Good luck (you may just have to buck up) Source(s): www.zone024.com

  2. Doesn't the tattoo parlor have something they can give you? Usually they keep some lidocaine cream on hand for just such situations. You can buy a gel called Topicaine over the counter. It contains 4% lidocaine (the same stuff they shoot you up with at the dentist's to numb your teeth), which is only a mild anesthetic, but it's the best you can do without a prescription. If you can get your hands on something that will make you feel a little drowsy (sedative, pain killer, muscle relaxant, even alcohol), that might help a bit as well -- but make sure ahead of time that it's okay with the tattoo place. Many of them will refuse to serve someone who appears drunk or stoned.
