Is this even possible?

Is this even possible?
I've just badly sprained my finger and i now cant play netball for at least two weeks and because we were already down on people we had to forfeit this game. A girl in my team is now really annoyed at me and keeps telling me how she broke her finger and kept playing and it was better in a week and keeps hinting that im a wuss and its really nothing.
Is this possible? How could it get better in a week if it was broken?
thanks xx

  1. im not sure what net ball is but i'm guessing it like volleyball. i wrestle and play football for my school and know in certian sports you can keep going after you break something small like a finger or toe. volleyball would be a different story. if you have a broken finger and your serve or spike the ball your putting direct force on that broken bone. this will cause extreme pain and take almost anyone out of a game, but if you get it taped up correctly and have any pain killers you could play through. there is no way that her finger healed up in a week having a broken takes around 2-3 weeks to heal up (i know), and no doctor who wants to keep thier licence would let someone come back that quikly. most likly she jammed it up and just wants to be a b**ch. so don't worry about it and let your finger heal up so you don't end up all broken like i am;) Source(s): im an athletebroke fingers, knuckles, nose and many other bones in my body

  2. She's just angry with you because you caused the forfeit (through no fault of your own). She's just taking her anger out on you because she needs somebody to blame and because she is probably very competitive.

  3. Just ignore her. If you use it when it's injured you'll only make it worse, risking permanent injury. She is lying. Full stop. Although sprains do usually take twice as long to heal than breaks... Tell her this.
