Bicep/elbow pain, what is it?

Bicep/elbow pain, what is it?
I was doing bicep curls 2 days ago and on my left arm when I finish at the top of the movement I felt something, like a tendon or ligament move, it wasn't painful but I never experienced anything like it

Now there is a dull pain when I fully extend or flex my left arm. The pain is in the lower part of the biceps, near the inner elbow [palms up]

Is it a strain, soreness or what else can it be? Thank you

  1. This is just lactic acid buildup from your last workout. Doing curls for the first time in a while causes a lot of stress, especially if you are going heavier than normal. Everything is fine. The pain you feel is in the tendon which connects your bicep to your forearm. It will slowly go away within the next few days. Stretching both your forearms and your bicep as well as taking some pain killers (alieve) will help in the process. Ice can also be used to dull the pain. If things seem to feel like they are getting worse I would recommend asking a trainer. Try to lay off curls or any other exercise on the biceps until they seem to feel better.
